£2.00

Photograph of Well Endowed Gentleman Possibly Ramesses II Carved into The Brickwork

Brown modern photograph – on the back of which is written: ‘This man had approx. 200 children, 600 grandchildren after how many wives? But, he married his daughters and one granddaughter.’

This could be relating to: Ramesses II or known as Ramesses the Great (19th dynasty), son of Seti I, who was around thirty years old when he became king of Egypt and then reigned for 67 years. He had many wives, among them some of his own near relatives, and was the father of about 111 sons and 51 daughters.
