Coronation of King Edward VIII 12th May 1937 Jug
This vintage jug was produced for the 1937 Coronation of King Edward VIII on the 12th May.
The front of the jug features an image in colour of The King. This is surrounded by flags, and features the wording 'Long May He Reign'. On the back it says 'Coronation of King Edward VIII 12th May 1937'. It was probably produced in 1936 to commemorate his forthcoming Coronation which was due to take place in May 1937; instead by the end of December 1936 he had abdicated and was no longer King.
